The Palmyra Community Foundation presented a donation to the Healthy Community Network, a registered 501©3 organization. The Network provides food, funding, community, and education/resources to provide assistance to the community of Palmyra, WI.
Palmyra Elementary School received a donation from the Palmyra Community Foundation through the Mary Squire Memorial “Do Good” Fund. Mr. Davey purchased 3 new indoor play ball sets for phy-ed classes. Pictured is Mrs. Taylor’s 5th grade class along with Mr. Lee Cushman, Palmyra Community Foundation, presenting Mr. Tom Davey, Phy-Ed teacher at Palmyra Elementary School, a check for $544.05. PES students and staff thank the Foundation and the family of Mary Squire for their generous donation.

The foundation is a public charity created December 8, 1998 under Federal Tax Law and tax-exempt under section 501 (c)(3), to receive and accept donations of cash or property for educational, cultural, charitable, or community development purposes for the benefit and improvement of the Palmyra area. To make a tax deductible fund available to the local citizens for this purpose.
